Meet Henry

Henry is a Haslemere-based piano tuner with a busy tuning round throughout Surrey, Sussex and London.

​

A trained musician as well as a piano tuner, Henry studied music at conservatoire level and worked professionally as a clarinettist before specialising in piano tuning.

 

This musical background, combined with ongoing technical training and experience, informs his careful approach to every instrument.

 

He tunes weekly at the Blüthner Piano Centre and for their clients and venues across London.

 

Since 2024, Henry has worked alongside Martin Stokes at the Yehudi Menuhin School, Charterhouse School and a host of other institutions through Stokes of London  Piano Services.

 

Henry has strong links with the wider piano trade and continues to develop his technical expertise through further training, including with Yamaha UK and the Piano Tuners' Association.

 

He enjoys helping customers with all aspects of piano care and is always happy to answer questions about these wonderful instruments.
